The National Highway Traffica Safety Administration has a new service that allows subscribers to automatically receive information about safety recalls via e-mail of text messages.

The notifications will happen automatically when there are safety recalls involving child car seats or tires.

We think it would be a good idea to sign up, particularly for those of you with small children.
