It turns out that patients aren't the only ones that have a hard time getting insurance companies to pay up.

Dr. Stephen Plotnick, a Virginia Beach doctor who is currently in the throes of multiple VA medical malpractice lawsuits, will soon be facing three more similar Virginia medical malpractice claims. Plotnick, who has had at least seven patients die from suspicious prescription drug overdoses in recent years, will now face charges from Patricia V. Waterfield, Michael J. Dirks and Gary D. Babcock.

While the Senate argues over the finer points of the National Health Care Bill this week, some are worried about the future rights of victims of medical malpractice.
