Drinking and Driving Over the Holidays PDF Print E-mail

The Holiday season is a time of friends, gifts and giving.

It is also, unfortunately, a time of heavy drinking and driving.

According to MADD, just under 13,000 people died in drunk driving related accidents. Drunk driving is the very definition of negligent behavior, so if you decide to get behind the wheel after you have a few drinks, you are not only taking your life in your own hands, but also the lives of other people on the road.

You are also breaking the law.

While we encourage people to enjoy themselves over the holidays, we cannot emphasize enough the importance of practicing safe behavior. If you want to have a few drinks over the holidays, make sure that you call a cab or have a designated driver.

As always, if you have been in an accident in Norfolk, Virginia Beach or the Tidewater area due to no fault of your own, contact Breit, Drescher and Imprevento for a free legal consultation today.
