It turns out that patients aren't the only ones that have a hard time getting insurance companies to pay up.
The American Medical Association has released a report card for insurance companies. It's grades are based on how efficient the insurers are when it comes to paying doctors for treating patients.
You might want to take a look and see what grade your insurer got.
